The wine route with a difference packs a whole lot into a short day. The first stop of your full day journey will be at Hidden Valley Wines. Sit back, relax and enjoy the stunning views and farm while you sip on the award winning wines.

The second part of the day kicks-off at Avontuur Wine Estate home of fine wines and fast horses. Here you will partake in a wine tasting and then a wonderful lunch from one of the best chefs in South Africa. You can also do some activities on the estate including a self-guided tour of the farm, horseback riding and viewing the spectacular vineyards. You can however book a tour to get a guided farm walk. Other optional activities are the specialty wine tastings where you’ll pair top notch wines with chocolates and biltong.

The last stop is at the Vergenoegd Wine Estate where you can relax and watch a daily ritual of Indian runner ducks entertain you with their wild shenanigans and parading like professionals. After this fulfilling day you will head home.
